One shipment instead of three.
Several orders, one delivery
If a customer orders several times on the same day to the same address, everything arrives in one parcel – less postage, less packaging, fewer shipments for the customer. The OPAL bundles several orders that haven't shipped yet into one delivery, controlled by clear conditions. The individual orders remain intact.
Part of the OPAL family
OPALs are building blocks from OXID eSales: a proven, solid foundation that needs to be adapted to your system landscape and integrated into your shop.

Several orders into one delivery
In the admin area, you combine several open orders from the same customer into one delivery.
Category rules for special cases
For each category, you specify whether it is allowed or excluded from merging. If an order contains an item from an excluded category, it is not merged – handy for hazardous goods, refrigerated goods or bulky goods.
Overview and undoing in the admin area
An overview shows the merged deliveries with the orders they contain and their status. As long as it hasn't shipped, a merge can be undone or marked as shipped; after that, it can no longer be changed. For each order, you can see whether it can be merged – and if not, which rule prevents it.
One shipping confirmation per delivery
The customer receives one shipping confirmation per merged delivery (editable template), based on the shipping costs of the final delivery – without a breakdown per order. The customer account shows a "shipped together" note.
Part of the fulfillment family
Delivery Bundling builds on the Fulfillment Framework – as the counterpart to Partial Deliveries. It shares its delivery units with these OPALs:
OPAL Fulfillment Framework
The common foundation for all supply chain OPALs – the data model of the delivery units.
OPAL Partial Deliveries
Split an order into several deliveries that can be shipped independently – the opposite direction.
To the OPALWho is this OPAL for?
Shop operators with many multiple orders
Your customers often order several times a day to the same address, and each order ships separately.
What the OPAL delivers here
Every bundled delivery saves postage, packaging and packing effort – with many multiple orders, this quickly adds up to real costs. Your customer gets one parcel instead of three, and your warehouse packs once instead of several times.
