The map data comes from OpenStreetMap: freely available and usable without your own API key.

For branches and dealers
The map doesn’t care whether a marker stands for your own branch or for a dealer that carries your products. You decide what is shown through your data.
Interactive map in the storefront
A map based on OpenStreetMap and Leaflet shows the locations as markers; a click opens a popup with name, address and additional information – in the visitor’s language, where maintained. The map page is linked from the footer.
On the map via the “Branch” mark
The OPAL comes with the “Branch” location type and shows exactly those locations that have this type assigned. A location goes on the map as soon as you give it this mark.
Remove from the map without deleting
If you remove the “Branch” mark from a location, it disappears from the map – but remains as a location and can still be used by other modules (for example as a pickup location).
One address, managed centrally
The master data is stored in the central location management; the OPAL only reads from it. That way, the same branch appears on the map and serves as a pickup location at the same time – without entering it twice and without addresses drifting apart.
Map data from OpenStreetMap
The map uses the freely available map data from OpenStreetMap. You don’t need your own API key for it.
