Four input geometries
Rectangle (length × width), circle (radius), freeform polygon (by drawing the floor plan) and direct input of a single value. Matching the way the customer describes their room or object.
Three calculation targets
Area (m²), volume (m³) or length (m) – depending on the target, the same geometry yields e.g. floor area, wall area, volume or perimeter. For parquet, paint, pool filling, cables or skirting boards.
Combine surfaces freely
For area calculations, floor, ceiling and walls can be enabled individually – each surface as “always”, “optional” (customer checkbox) or “off”. Circular walls use the lateral surface of a cylinder.
Per-product configuration in the admin area
In the “Material Calculator” product tab, you define per product: calculation target, geometry, surfaces to include, consumption value (e.g. “1 can covers 12 m²”), unit label (“cans”, “rolls”, “litres”), an optional custom title and a result text with placeholders such as {quantity} or {scalar}.
Waste allowance & limits
A configurable safety margin in percent is added to the calculated quantity. Optional min/max limits protect against typos during input.

SVG-based drawing of the floor plan: set and drag corner points, read edge lengths, undo and delete, live display of the area – without any external JavaScript library.
