Reusable scan button

A scan always gets you there: a QR URL opens the linked page, a barcode leads to the matching product. If nothing unambiguous is found, the customer lands in the store search instead of on an empty page.
Accessible & privacy-aware
Manual entry as an equivalent alternative (without a camera) and a GDPR notice before camera access is granted. With multiple cameras there is a selection (rear camera preferred, choice remembered); granted access is kept for later scans.
Generator in the admin area
QR codes can be generated for every product – for the product page, direct purchase (with adjustable quantity) or a campaign with UTM parameters – as an image in several sizes, with preview. The same works for categories, CMS pages and any URL. The module stores nothing and needs no migration.
Direct-to-cart & bulk capture
A scan puts the product in the cart – it is added, not replaced, so the cart fills up and is never emptied. In bulk mode you can scan continuously and add several products one after another; unclear codes stop with a notice.
Variants handled cleanly
A QR code for a variant leads directly to the exact SKU. For direct-to-cart, the behavior follows the store setting “Parent products can be purchased”: if the parent product cannot be purchased, the customer is prompted to choose a variant – with the desired quantity kept prefilled.
